Numerous language teachers from all around the world apply to teach on Lingueo every day. We put them through thorough selection process and we choose the best teachers for you based on their qualifications and experience.

3: The profile creation

Our Languages managers accompany selected teachers during their first steps on Lingueo. We make sure that their profiles are complete and that there is enough information for you to make your choice.

4: The Quality Test

The Lingueo team is daily testing our new language teachers in order to evaluate them. The evaluation criteria are:

• Teaching skills

• Ability to listen

• Friendliness

• Availability

• Punctuality

• Connection and Device Quality

If a teacher meets all these criteria, he joins the community of our active teachers, which allows him to become visible to students in the search engine and to share his knowledge on Lingueo!

5: Grading system

One of the greatest advantages of a social network is the exchange of experience. For this reason, at the end of each class, we ask you to grade your language teacher from 1 to 5 stars (from least satisfied to most satisfied). The average grade is listed on the teacher's public profile, and you can thus benefit from other users’ experiences. This note also determines the teacher’s position in the search engine. Don’t forget that your evaluation defines the teacher’s grade!

The colour of the stars varies according to the number of classes the teacher has given, and allows you to know if the teacher is novice or more experienced. A teacher gains his first star by completing his profile to a maximum.

6: Comments

You are given the chance to leave a comment about your teacher at the end of each class. You are encouraged to do this, because an opinion is always more valuable when it is shared! These comments are visible on the teachers’ profiles.
